CONSTRUCTION:
Earthing switches type UW have secant construction. Isolators are fastened to the frame. The isolators have silvered copper earthing contacts fixed at the ends, being the earthing terminal clamps. Moving contacts are welded to the transmission shaft and have silvered copper contact tips fastened to their ends. On the base, there is an earth terminal with M12x30 screw. Interpolar isolation is provided by an air gap, while, in earthing switches with reduced interpolar scale, the air gap is further assisted by isolating plates. Earthing switches may be opened and closed by the motor operating mechanism type NSW30-1 or by the manual operating mechanism type NR-1 or type NRK. For all mechanisms the mounting holes are the same. As a standard, the mechanism is equipped with 1400mm length isolating rod. Universal end of disconnector drive shaft allows for easy and simple configuration with wide range of operating devices. In the case of disconnectors with operating mechanism type NR-1 there is necessary to assembly right shaft terminal PK (with gear wheels).
